Children of the King Recent Activities

Precious water is flowing from the Children of the King well!

The tower with two 5,000 liter water tanks and solar panels to power the pump has been completed!

On July 17 the well pump testing was completed!

On July 6, 2026 we signed a contract with Hydromega Solutions to drill a well, solar powered pump, and elevated holding tanks to provide a reliable year-around source of safe drinking water for Children of the King as well as their community. Below is a picture of the Hydromega Solutions team at the contract review and signing. The well drilling equipment arrived on Saturday night, July 11, 2026, and drilling commenced on July 12, 2026! By July 13, 2026, the bore hole and casing was completed! Praise God for water!!!

On June 6, 2026, the elders submitted a letter to the Samburu County Land Office requesting that the land donated to Children of the King be beaconed (surveyed and markers placed at the corners). A week later the beaconing was completed! Praise God that we have official recognition of the land donated to Children of the King! After the land was surveyed, the children enjoyed painting poles in traditional Samburu colors to be installed at each corner of the property.
